Lately I’ve been reading everyone’s blogs, and there have been a LOT of posts involving peanut butter and chocolate. This is one of my most favourite combinations. If I have to choose, it’s always the peanut butter related option.
So I googled a few recipes. I originally wanted monster cookies, because I have a plethora of mixins in my pantry, but didn’t have everything the recipe required. Then I found a peanut butter chocolate chip recipe that looked perfect! I find with cookies, unless you go absoutely crazy, you’re safe to add any extras you feel like.

Ok. Now that I have time. Man is Christmas busy. I’d like you to know that I’ve honestly just grabbed a bowl of chips and a half bottle of wine to write this. But thankfully it’s almost over and we can start worrying about new years plans and making up some never to be fufilled new years resolutions.
Will post recipe tomorrow! Too sleepy.

It’s cookie season! Not that any time can’t be cookie season, but we’re all about excess this time of year. Someone brought this AMAZING cookie edition of Fine Cooking magazine, filled with many different delicious cookie recipes. So I went with the Chocolate-Peppermint Thumbprints, since I somehow happened to have ALL of the ingredients at home.
Recipe after the jump
I don’t have any Christmas themed cookie cutters. I don’t think I have anything Christmas themed. Don’t get me wrong, I Celebrate and LOVE Christmas, I’ve just been broke. For a long while.
So, most of the christmas product has arrived at the Gourmet Warehouse. I thought it was difficult enough to resist buying half of everything in the store. But with the cute packaging, snow flakes, and all the red and green, I had to give in.

I don’t have anything monumental to post right now, Michael has been sick the last few days, so I’ve just been doing what I can to make him feel better. I baby him quite a bit. Thai food, comic books, medicine.
Not leaving the house for a day or two has been incredibly boring, but I did come across some old photos from when I worked in catering! I did everything while I worked there. Prep, cold food, hot food, baking, dishes and cleaning! It was a small company, and since I always seem to show potential/work ethic, I always end up doing more. (and more and more)
So here’s some pictures!
