Put this on macaroni, cauliflower, fries, dip things into it. Dear god.
Killer as in awesome, not deadly. That wouldn’t be good.
This recipe is for a creamy cheese sauce, with a blend of sharp white cheddar and regular cheddar, cracked black pepper and cayenne pepper. You get the sharpness of the cheese cutting through the richness of the cream, and a little pop of heat from the peppers. Amazing.
I’ve been bad lately. I have so many things to post about, but have been really lazy. The busy-ness at work has finally subsided, so I’ll be good and post lots, I swear! Plus michael starts working again soon, and I’ll have $$ for more food related frivolities!
Perfect little bites!
I gave Michael instructions on how to throw together a slow-cooker chili while I was at work, and made these as soon as I came home!
I got the recipe from Serious Eats, but it’s a simple recipe I’ve made before! They just inspired me 🙂

Check out my tan!
I had a long weekend off this Thanksgiving, but since I had two dinners in a row on Sat and Sunday, I decided to go another direction with Monday. I took out some ground beef, and gave Michael a few options, and we ended up with nachos!
So today I did some detective work via text trying to find out what Michael wanted for dinner.
It started with “that gooey mexican thing”, after a while I realized that he was wanting some enchiladas.
Now I had never made enchiladas, nor did I really know the proper recipe for one. So I googled a bit around on my cell while working, and came up with a few ideas. I also thought some guacamole would go great on the side with some tortilla chips. So I promptly text-ed michael back informing him that he must pick up some “squishy” avocados and a lime, as I would take care of the rest.
