Check me out at my new site!
I thought I’d make one of these, because I think it’s super important that you have a properly stocked pantry. If you’re new to cooking or think you dislike it, this will make it easier, and fun! Or something!
and in the interest of awesomeosity, I’m going to look for the best stock photos ever.
Sorry for the long time away, I had rent and a damage deposit for a new place come out on the same cheque, so I’ve been a little tight on cash. Which generally means I’m eating beans n’ rice. But all is well and I can have my sangria and drink it tooo!
Happy Beer Thursday! I’m pushing for this to become a holiday, but we’ll see.
We headed down to Belgian Fries today!
Look ma, I’m posting! No time to explain, work-family stuff happening. Makes life busy!
But! A friend/coworker and I have thought up a weekly outing to get us through the work week.
I’ve had this idea for quite some time. I find that the Lavender flavour of Dry Soda, tastes similar to tonic. So I thought it’d go great with Gin.
Remember that jalapeno vodka we made a while back?
We never actually finished it. We also never took the jalapenos out and have left it in the fridge since. We wanted to try it one last time.
Okay, so a week has passed. I’d like to share my jalapeno infused vodka experiences. If you missed it, first post here.
I was inspired today. Have I ever mentioned the problem with being a foodie that works for a gourmet food/equipment store? The endless, expensive, inspiration.
Today I was putting some beautiful glass bottles into the system.
I read a lot of food blogs. And I mean a LOT. I love food. I love reading about it. There are a few blogs I really like, and one of them is My Jello Americans.
They have some great ideas and some really weird jello shots. Fun to look at and inspiring. One day they had a post to join their mailing list to receive random stuff. Loving random things, I decided to send my address and see what happened. I didn’t expect anything from it, I think I even forgot about it.
Until Michael called me saying I got some mail. He said I received a donkey. “Yeah, a donkey, a salt and pepper shaker.”
My immediate reaction was “wtf?” but I soon found out that it had come from the lovely ladies at My Jello Americans. So in return, here’s my homage to My Jello Americans, or.. “My Jello Canadians”.
