I’m back! Also, Merry Chrismas/all that holiday stuff!
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cups whole nuts, can be a mix or one type
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons cayenne
- 2 tablespoons salt
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and mix well, add nuts and toss to coat. Place in an even layer on a parchment lined baking sheet, and bake for 15 minutes, or until honey has dried.
Ovens vary, so keep an eye on this!
Allow to fully cool, and enjoy!
If you’re not a fan of spice, feel free to cut the cayenne in half.
On the note of my…er..absense. I’m sorry! I’ve been so busy with work that I had to put it on the sidelines for a while. Having to cook all day doesn’t leave me any patience to cook more and try to fiddle with photography at the same time! I needed some me time too!
But now the busy season is over and I’ll have much more time to balance the two!
