Hangover Hashbrowns

Last night I went to a “round” themed potluck. Everyone with round food! But I came home and had a few drinks, so right now I’ll post my “hangover hashbrowns” and then later on today I’ll post the dishes I brought to the potluck!

This is easy. Stupid easy. A quick greasy breakfast in little time, with a little improvisation.

Yum!!

What you need:
Frozen french fries
Oil/Butter
Finely chopped green onion and parsley
any other spices you want to add.

Chop up your french fries and begin frying in a medium-high pan with a little oil or butter, or both.

Browned! You can season a little with salt and pepper but this depends on what fries you're using. Mine were pretty seasoned already so I didn't season at all.

Add your fresh herbs and any other spices you wanna add. Gotta add the fresh herbs when it's done, you don't want to cook them. They've gotta bring that fresh flavour!

Now you’re probably saying “why not use some frozen hashbrowns?” Well it takes a little bit more time, you need to think more regarding seasoning, and I didn’t have any in the freezer.

 

So when half asleep and grumpy, we must make the best of what we have, with a minimal amount of effort. ❤
